I wanna go back to the generation where “going out” was going on a date, not immediately becoming bf/gf. I wanna go back to the generation when a guy had to get permission from the girl’s parents to ask her out. I wanna go back to the generation where a guy would physically call her and talk to her, not text. I don’t want my best-friend to take my advice, and then end up having things turn out shitty. I gave her options, and I told her not to wait when it came to the girl she liked. 

I want to be a psychiatrist.

Maybe it’ll be easier telling a stranger what to do and not caring if it doesn’t work out.

But I’d like to think none of my patients will be strangers. I want them to be friends, because in a time like that, when a psychiatrist is your last resort. I think you just need a really good friend. 

I feel kind of ashamed saying that, because I don’t want to be payed to be someone’s friend.

I think in times like this- all you can do is say what you’re thinking, and hope it works out for them, and they get what they want.

I guess it’s all I can do for now.
